Handmade Palette
This is a home/ handmade glass painter's palette. This was made within the classroom of my Advanced Illustration class in the Fall of 2015, and was taught/ overseen by Professor Meena Khalili.
Materials: White foam core Neutral grey paper A square piece of glass Silver duct tape The entire process wasn't extremely tedious, surprisingly, with the exception of tearing the duct tape off of the roll. (I kept having issues with it getting stuck to itself.) Also, in order to make sure that I had a nice large surface for inks and paints, I gave it a quarter (1/4") inch piece on the edge of the glass, before wrapping it around the other layers. |
